I work as a senior art director at a large advertising group. I have always had a passion for illustration and hand lettering. I work a lot with my friends in a hand painted sign shop in my spare time. The slower pace of painting letters and working with gold leaf is the perfect juxtaposition for my fast paced deadline driven career.
I’ve become enamoured with the NFT wave and what it can mean for digital artists and owning their online work. I love collecting and the wave of new artists it has introduced me to.
I wanted to join the community and expand my lettering work into a digital medium that my career has me in every day. Monster capitals is that for me. A fun lettering project for creating characters and subtle animations.
I am enjoying sharing this space with the artists that I’ve met. I’m drawing inspiration from many of them including Crumpton and @Satidraws.
Being a part of the community is my first goal. So I’ve decided to give my pieces away for this project to build connections. I hope people enjoy them!
I am an artist, not a developer. I have no plans for my project to turn into a game. But I am interested in doing collaborations. I also have visions for future animation projects, possibly an animated comic!
