Crypsybear is socially critical art in the digital ecosystem. 50% of all NFT sales are donated to UNICEF to support children aid projects.
All artworks come with a simple message, i.e. “eat less burgers, read more books”
The artist is inspired by Banksy and Beeple. However the style is unique. It is a mixture of photography and art.
Initially the artist was about to start buying NFTs as an investment and addition to cryptocurrency and classical stocks. Due to the fact that he simply could not decide what NFTs to collect, he started creating his own collection and became a creator, rather than a collector.
His advice to new artists is ‘just do it’. There are plenty of opportunities with NFTs. Don’t be afraid. Start and take it step by step. If you fail, carry on and next time fail better. Keep pushing.
Some of the challenges to getting started include setting up wallets, learning about smart contracts and choosing a marketplace.
The biggest reward is ending the next donation to UNICEF to help the children.
NFTs will become ‘mainstream’ soon. More and more people are getting exposure to them and there are many utilities for them. Also it is a great opportunity for artists to showcase and sell their art to a worldwide audience. In the next few years most people will own NFTs.
The metaverse and Web 3 bring social interactions to the next level. People will spend more and more time in the metaverses. It is big business for investors and so we see a lot of big names entering the metaverse.
I would love to collab with Beeple + Banksy 🤣. Crypsybear is open for collaborations with all artists, no matter how well known or unknown they are. A collaboration should always be fun for all participants. There are currently some collaborations on our schedule. Artists should simply reach out and create something together.
Crypsy Bear has built a fashion brand around the NFT project. There are shirts, caps, hoodies and accessories with the logo and some of the NFTs on them.
Look for Crypsy Bear art on exhibition in real life galleries. It has been on display in Dubai and will be on display in Zurich next month!
